Originally from London, Jay came to Cardiff in 2009 to study dentistry, and loved it so much, he never left! He took over Lotus Dental Studio in 2021 and has expanded the practice significantly, investing in the latest technology. He has expanded his knowledge and completed courses internationally in anterior cosmetic dentistry. He has a special interest in orthodontics, specifically using Invisalign. He is a Platinum Elite provider which makes him amongst the most experienced invisalign providers in the country. He was also chosen by the local health board to be a DF trainer, passing on his knowledge and experience to the latest dental graduates. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and following his beloved Manchester United.

Born and raised in South Wales, Laura is a highly skilled dentist. She is especially good with nervous and anxious patients and prides herself on patient centred approach. She is also proficient in the use of Invisalign.
Laura enjoys spending time with her two young children.

Consultant in Restorative dentistry at North Manchester General Hospital and Royal Oldham Hospital Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Has a special interest in implantology, periodontology and prosthodontics. With vast expertise and specialist training internationally, Dr Natarajan can provide all simple and complex implant and periodontal (gum) treatment as well as all complex restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has placed thousands of implants  He accepts referrals from across South Wales and beyond.

Iwan is born and raised in South wales and joined the practice as a foundation dentist after graduating in 2024. He was so good, we were delighted he was able to stay on with us permanently.
He has further training in the application of facial Botox and has a Percival interest in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry.
Outside of work he enjoy any and all forms of sport (especially rugby) and travelling around the world exploring new countries and cultures.

Rhys is our current DF1 dentist. A Bristol graduate but has lived in the local area his whole life. He enjoys spending time with his two young children and has recently taken up judo
and paddle boarding.

Reshma works at the highest end of dentistry within Morriston Hospital and we are exceptionally lucky to have her available at the practice. She is passionate about creating healthy beautiful smiles. She is able to provide all aspects of dentistry to the highest standard and takes on cases other dentists cannot treat on referral at the hospital and now at the practice. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors and spending quality time with her family. A personal highlight was completing the Gower Peninsula Full Marathon Mighty Hike 2024.

Laura is a proficient dental therapist with a keen interest in anterior composite bonding. She enjoys keeping fit and travelling in her spare time.

Chanelle is a versatile dental therapist who also performs facial aesthetics including anti-wrinkle injections and lip enhancements.

Elinor is a well rounded dental therapist who carries out all therapist duties and has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and skin rejuvenation.

Karen is the head nurse at the practice and is extensively experienced in all aspects of dentistry having qualified in 2008. She has spent a lot of time working alongside specialist oral and implant surgeons across South Wales. She is committed to providing a 5 star experience to all of her patients and helping nurture the future generations of dental nurses. Within her job role, she is in charge
of maintaining the highest of standards across the practice and staff. Outside of work, she is a proud mother of 2 beautiful children and a self confessed cat lady who regularly volunteers at the animal shelter.

Dana has been a dental nurse since 2013 at the practice. She has completed many extended nurse courses including taking impressions, fluoride application, tooth whitening and phlebotomy.
She is the person you will see for digital intra oral scans of the mouth, for dentures and predominantly Invisalign. She loves spending time with patients and helping talk them through their Invisalign journey. She has scanned and assisted 100s of patients
in their teeth straightening and whitening journeys! She loves spending time exploring the outdoors and summer weekends in her
caravan.

Jessica has been a dental nurse at the practice since 2019 and has completed an advanced course in implant nursing at the Straumann Institute in Surrey in 2023. She is the friendly face you see and the voice you hear on the phone for all things related to dental implants at the practice. Any and all implant matters are managed by her and she takes pride in connecting with her patients and helping them through their implant journey both before and after surgery.She enjoys days out with her son and is a lover of the gym. She also enjoys painting and reading the latest novels.

Rhian is amongst our most experienced staff having been a dental nurse for 20 years, all of it at the practice. She has advanced training in taking dental impressions, fluoride application and
giving oral health advice. She enjoys relaxing after work with tapestry, lego and watching a great film.

Jade qualified as a dental nurse in 2022 and is a passionate and caring individual with vast experience across all forms of dentistry. She currently supports Dental Foundation Trainees (recently graduated dentists), margins their transition and supporting them from university into professional practice. In addition to dental nursing she is a qualified and skilled aesthetics practitioner with
a particular interest in lip enhancement. She enjoys running, walking and meeting up with friends and family.

Abby qualified as a dental nurse in 2022 and has built up an extensive experience within sedation dentistry. Her calm and Darien demeanour helps put the most anxious patients at ease. She also supports the reception team in providing the best experience possible at the practice. She loves spending time outdoors with her two children and keeping fit.

Joanna has gained a broad range of skills in all aspects of dentistry working in various roles within the profession since 1990. She has now put all of that experience to providing an exceptional front of house and reception experience for the practice. She is a proud mother of two sons and a spokesperson and advocate for Organ
Donation Wales, a cause she is extremely passionate about.

Katy has been our business manager since 2024 but previously was a dental nurse at the practice. She is currently studying People Management on a part time basis at university in an effort to bring fresh ideas to the practice and ensure a smooth journey for our
patients. When away from her desk she enjoys exploring everything Wales has to offer with her daughter and discovering quirky and unique cafes.
